CASE STUDY ONE: Franchise Dealer operates Dragon 2000/Sage DMS producing accounts on A4 sheet of paper and several months behind on their composite submissions.
SOLUTION: Create download within Sage into new Management Accounts template within Excel, thus allowing the client to produce detailed monthly accounts. The download within Sage was then used within the Composite provider's software and mapped in line with composite requirements. Data for the unsubmitted previous months composite were also created and the dealers composite were brought up to date.
CASE STUDY TWO: Franchise Dealer operates Gemini/Sage DMS producing quarterly accounts through their external accountants. Dealer wanted assistance in order that they could submit accurate monthly composite submissions.
SOLUTION: Review the Sage trial balance and create appropriate nominal codes in line with composite requirements. Create a csv file within Sage and download and map into the franchise composite software. Train the member of staff who will be respnsibility for the monthly composite submissions.
CASE STUDY THREE: Franchise dealer group operates Kerridge Rev8. The management accountant was leaving and their was a time delay between their exit and the appointment of a new management accountant.
SOLUTION: Did a handover with the outgoing management accountant and then covered for two months until the appointment of a new management accountant. A handover was then done with the new accountant thus enabling to take the pressure of the Group Accountant who was able to concentrate on the Groups year end audit.
